This is a test build. Do not rely on it to catch your dock light. Keep watching the dock yourself.
What it saves. While a test session is running, Pack Watch keeps up to three still photos from your camera: one when you tap ARM, one if the alarm fires, and one if you tap MISSED. Each still has the box you drew around the light marked on it.
Where they go. The stills and your session numbers upload to Husky Printing Nac's private test database. Only Husky Printing Nac sees them. They are used to check false alarms and missed lights, and are deleted when the beta ends.
The whole view is saved, not just the light. A still is the full picture your camera sees, with your box drawn on it — that is how we tell whether the box was aimed right. So whatever is in frame is in the photo.
Only send us dock lights. Point the phone at dock doors, lights and signs — nothing else. Not people, not paperwork, not your cab, not plates or documents. Before you tap ARM, look at what is in frame and make sure there is nothing sensitive, private or illegal in it. If there is, move the phone.
Rear camera only. Pack Watch only ever asks your phone for the rear camera. If a phone has no rear camera the app stops with an error instead of quietly switching to the selfie camera — it will not film your face. Being straight with you: your phone grants camera permission to a whole website rather than to one lens, so this is a promise about how the app is built, not a lock your phone enforces. Your phone's camera dot lights up any time the camera is on.
No stills are taken while a session is not running. Nothing is recorded as video, and audio is never captured. You can see every still before it uploads, on the screen at the end of each session.
Your name and email. Your name labels your own tests so we can tell one driver's results from another's — no other tester ever sees it. An email is optional. If you give one and tick the box, it is used for exactly one thing: reaching you about a problem you reported, so we can fix it. Husky Printing Nac does not sell or share your details with anyone, and will never call, text or email you about sales, marketing or offers. Tech support only.
A free year for taking part. Run real sessions and tell us what happened — notes at the end of a session, or a report when something goes wrong — and you get 12 months of Pack Watch free when it launches. It depends on taking part and telling us what you saw, nothing else.
Photos are not a condition of that. Choose CONTINUE WITHOUT PHOTOS and you still qualify.
Where the dock is — your choice, separate from everything else. If you tick the box below, Pack Watch takes one location reading at the moment you tap ARM, and saves it with that test. One reading, when you tap ARM. Not while you drive, not a trail, and never in the background — the app cannot see where you are when it is not running. It is so we can look the dock up on a map and work out why a light was hard to read there.
Leave it unticked and everything else works exactly the same, and you still qualify for the free year. Same as photos: your answer costs you nothing either way.
Changed your mind about photos? Tap "Photo settings" at the bottom of the start screen. You can come back to this screen any time and choose to continue without photos.
